Freia at Pico de Loro - LOCATION

Freia is located at Pico De Loro, Nasugbu, Batangas.

A sprawling seaside sanctuary located right at the head of the Nasugbu coastline, the longestablished favored seaside address of the country’s elite and the gateway to the “Philippine Riviera”.

The Freia is regarded more as a resort rather than a permanent residence, which is why it is rather secluded and located far away from other forms of civilization. It is much better suited as a retirement home, or vacation home while you are still enjoying your career. Either way, you can be sure that you will be making a worthwhile investment when you buy a unit in the Freia.

On the other hand, it is not as if the Freia is totally cut off from civilization. As mentioned earlier, once the new National Highway leading to Nasugbu from Ternate, Cavite, the travel time from Manila will be considerably lessened. When that road is opened, you just need to drive for around an hour to reach the SM Mall of Asia. This means that if you ever want to go shopping for supplies or a new swimwear for the beach, you will never be that far away.

Now, if you do not want to drive that far when you need to go for a quick grocery run, you can just go to the Nasugbu town proper. There, you will find plenty of wet and dry markets where you can find the freshest produce, meats, and seafood. There are also several supermarkets in the town where you can purchase other dry goods and basic supplies that you will need during your stay at Pico de Loro.

You can also find plenty of bars and restaurants in Nasugbu, seeing as it is also home to lots of beautiful beach resorts. If you want to go for a nice night out with your friends, you can go barhopping in Nasugbu until the wee hours of the morning. On the other hand, if you are just looking for a bit of peace and quiet, there are plenty of coffee shops in the town where they serve the province’s famous Kapeng Barako, and other types of coffee-based beverages if you are not into the strong stuff.

Now, if you are looking for a day of adventure and also a chance to become one with nature, you can go trekking up the famed Mt. Pico de Loro. The climb towards the summit is not that difficult, although it will still take around three hours to reach the summit for those who do not have much hiking experience. However, once you are on one of the summits of the mountain, the amazing view will be more than worth the effort. On a clear day, you can get a nice view of the West Philippine Sea, and on a cloudy, overcast day, you will enjoy gazing at a sea of clouds below you.

There are plenty of other things to see and do outside Freia at Pico de Loro other than the ones you can enjoy within Hamilo Coast, of course. This is the reason why the Freia provides residents with the best of both worlds. You are somewhat secluded from the Metro so you can recharge your mind and body yet you are not that far from modern creature comforts either. Regardless if you will be treating the Freia as your retirement home, or as a vacation house for the holidays, you will undoubtedly have a good time either way.
